The Ogden City Animal Services Division is housed in the Carol Conroy Browning-Ogden Animal Shelter located at the mouth of Ogden Canyon at 1490 Park Blvd. We are situated along the Ogden River Trailway immediately West of the Dinosaur Park, just East of the Big D Sports Park and adjacent to the fairway of El Monte Golf Course.
Ogden City Corporation has specific ordinances which govern animals within our community. Dogs and cats 6 months of age and older are required to be licensed. Residents are required to license their pets within two weeks of bringing the animal into the City or at the time the animal reaches 6 months of age. It is a requirement of Ogden City that all dogs and cats must wear license and rabies tags at all times. Please check Pet Licensing for specific fees and requirements.
The Tiffancy Adoption Center has an excellent selection of companion pets. Our adoption fees are all-inclusive of the required rabies vaccination, veterinary examination, spay/neuter surgery, and licensing within Ogden City. Please visit our on-line Adoption link to view photos of animals currently available and review our adoption process.
If you have Lost Your Pet please check our on-line photos of lost animals currently housed at the shelter. The photographs of lost pets will give you an idea if your pet may be at the shelter, however, it is better if you can visit our shelter frequently in search of your animal. Lost, stray and/or impounded animals are subject to impound, licensing, and boarding fees before they can be reclaimed by their owner. Special Services are also available to residents of Ogden City in dealing with animal concerns or problems. Please check this section of our website or call the Animal Services Division for assistance.Volunteers, both old and young (with accompanying guardian) are always welcome and needed to provide exercise and socialization for our pets in the Tiffany Adoption Center. Please call 629-8244 to learn more about this program and how you can help
Humane Education Programs and Tours of the Carol Conroy Browning-Ogden Animal Shelter facility are available for individuals or groups and may be scheduled through the Adoption Coordinator by calling 629-8244.
