There is a non-refundable $83 base fee for each commercial license application plus $7 for each full-time employee and $3.50 part-time employee. Disproportionate fees vary and are assessed based on the type of business. Business fees are billed annually. For a new business, license fees must be paid at the time of application.

Home Occupation is defined as the use of a portion of a dwelling as an office, studio or work room for occupations which are customarily conducted in the home that are incidental to the primary use as a home or residence, provided additionally, that: (1) the occupation is limited to members of the family who reside on the premises; (2) such occupation shall not require interior or exterior alterations; (3) the occupation shall not include the sale of commodities which are not produced on the premises; and (4) the occupation shall not use any accessory buildings, yard or space outside of the main building not normally associated with residential use. It may include child day care of not more than five (5) children; and five (5) wholesale and / or retail sales of commodities are not permitted directly from the home.
