Approved Trees and Planting Guidelines

To find the species of trees that are allowed in your area for planting, please click on the appropriate link below.

North West Management Unit (North of Ogden River, West of Monroe Blvd.)

North East Management Unit (North of Ogden River, East of Monroe Blvd.)

South West Management Unit (South of Ogden River, West of Monroe Blvd.)

Planting Guidelines are available to assist you in helping your tree grow strong and healthy.

Planting Guidelines

Please remember a permit is required for all planting, trimming and removal of trees located on public property and in the park strips. This permit is free for Ogden City residents.  The permit is required to insure  proper precautions are  taken and also to help keep current urban forestry records. You can call the Ogden City Public Ways & Parks Division at 629-8284 for more information.
