Jesse M. Garcia is currently serving in his fourth term as representative of Ogden's Municipal Ward 1. He has served on the Ogden City Council since he was elected in January 1994, currently holding the position of Chair.  In 1997, 2000 and 2001, he was Vice Chair.  He graduated from Ben Lomond High School, Class of 1972.

With experience in the area of human and community service, Mr. Garcia brings particular skill and expertise to the Council. His community involvement includes program coordination, program development, and support personnel supervision. He has provided counseling for high-risk youth and families, as well as drug and alcohol abuse counseling.
