A Very Successful SIA Show in Vegas!

"We had great results from the SIA show," said Mayor Matthew Godfrey regarding the annual Snowsports Industries America show in Las Vegas, Nevada. "The meetings with the many ski companies we had went very well. This year they knew about Ogden and had some understanding of 'The Hub' concept."
"The Hub" refers to Ogden being a ski company hub. In the past 15 months five ski companies have announced their move to Ogden. These companies include Descente, Scott USA, Goode, Kahuna and Snowsports Interactive. A sixth ski company will be announcing their move to Ogden in the next few weeks.
During the show Mayor Godfrey was approached by three different companies who expressed a desire to bring their business to Ogden. "We have a good shot at landing at least three more ski companies here in the next year," said Mayor Godfrey.
Larry Hansen from Pinnacle Marketing attended the show with the Mayor along with representatives from the Governors Economic Development Office and Economic Development Corporation of Utah (EDCU).
