The Ogden City Planning Division is a division of the Community & Economic Development Department of Ogden City. The duty of the Planning Division is to oversee land use regulations, develop long range plans for the City and review development proposals within Ogden City. The staff of the Planning Division also serves as the staff to the Planning Commission, the Mayor's Administrative Review Meeting, the Ogden Trails Network Committee, the Board of Zoning Adjustment, Ogden City Landmarks Commission and the Crossroads of the West Advisory Committee.

We are happy to provide you with information regarding answers to zoning questions, procedures of how to develop a project in the City, how to rezone or change regulations, answer questions about what is to be developed in your neighborhood, questions about sign regulations, answer questions about historic building preservation, and any other question you may have about development in Ogden City.

The Planning Division prepares agendas and reports for projects that need approval from the Board or Commissioner that oversees the specific developments.  The time and day of the meetings is listed below:  Any project design to be reviewed by these groups need to submit plans at least 16 days in advance to the Planning Division.
