The Business Information Center (BIC) is a community development resource facility offering free business consulting, workshops, seminars, a comprehensive business library plus much more. The BIC is located in Ogden’s Downtown Central Business District.
The mission of the BIC is to provide free or low cost information, education and training to help Northern Utah entrepreneurs start, operate and grow their businesses.
The BIC operates in partnership with the Weber State University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).
Small Business Loan Program
The Ogden City Small Business Loan Program is a federally-funded program. The primary objectives of this program are:
- To create permanent jobs and retain existing jobs for low-to-moderate income Ogden residents
- To provide economic opportunities in Ogden
- To stimulate the redevelopment of under-utilized and deteriorated commercial property in Ogden by providing improved access to business loan financing
Loans are made to the extent funding is budgeted and available and are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Small business owners should review the program guidelines
before applying.
