About the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Mark L. Johnson is a lifelong advocate of the greater Ogden area community. He has previously served Ogden City Corporation as the Director of Management Services, directing the City’s accounting, fiscal operations, information technology, fleet and facilities, human resources, risk management, business licensing, justice court, and recorder’s office. Additionally Mark served on the Ogden City Planning Commission, and was a member of the Ogden City Council.

His professional experience includes successful high-profile leadership positions in the business and finance industries. Mark’s community leadership roles include serving on the board of directors for Deseret Gym, Deseret Industries, Weber/Morgan Child Abuse Council, Wasatch Kiwanis Club, and Roy-Riverdale Chamber of Commerce.

In his personal life, Mark enjoys the great outdoors of northern Utah with his family and friends. Hiking and photography are two passions he enjoys simultaneously in the open-air studio the Ogden area provides.
