Come join others from throughout our community for America’s 29th anniversary of National Night Out Against Crime. This important event is proudly sponsored by the Ogden Police Department and supported by Ogden Citizen Corps. Activities will be held Tuesday, August 7, from 5:30 to 8:30pm at Lester Park, located at 24th Street and Jefferson Avenue.

The purpose of Ogden’s Night Out Against Crime is to:

• Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness
• Generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts
• Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and
• Send a message to criminals that they are not welcome in our city and that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

This is a great opportunity to meet public safety experts and learn from educational displays and activities showcasing community and regional resources promoting safe neighborhoods.
