More Pickle Ball Courts Under Construction

Love Pickleball? You're in luck! More courts are under construction!

Pickleball Courts Under Construction

Ogden City is excited to announce the construction of more courts for the exciting sport of Pickle Ball. These new additions were started just a few weeks ago at Mt. Ogden Park and are scheduled to be completed mid-July. Site preparation and post tensioned slab for the new four (4) court cell was completed last week. This new cell will allow for more overall play and will also allow for larger tournaments to be held in Ogden.

This expansion is projected to be complete prior to the Ogden Pickle Ball Association’s Tournament of Champions. The tournament will be held in conjunction with the Pioneer Days Celebration and Rodeo. The tourney will begin on Thursday July 19th and will run through Saturday July 21st. It is anticipated that the number one ranked Pickle Ball player in the world will be competing in this tournament.

This project funding was made possible by very generous private donations and Weber County RAMP. In kind donations were made by Ogden City’s Public Ways and Parks and Ogden City’s Engineering Divisions. For more information regarding this pickle ball court expansion, please contact the Public Ways and Parks office at 801-629-8271.
