Over the past year, the Mt. Ogden Golf Course has undergone a few minor changes and upgrades that are now lending the course to be a hot spot for many local tournaments.

Mt. Ogden Golf Course recently hosted the Ogden Weber Chamber Golf Classic on August 20, 2012. The Chamber Golf Classic is regarded as the largest event of its kind in the Northern Utah area. A total of 212 players were greeted by Ogden City Staff and treated to a day of breakfast, lunch, golf, and evening awards social.

Many improvements were made to the golf course in anticipation of the event including replacement of all of the cart paths on the golf course. Many of the players that participated in the event remarked at the nearly perfect conditions of the course itself and how superior the level of service was.

In order to pull off an event this size, it takes a number of talented people to do it. The Mt. Ogden Golf Course staff was assisted by the entire Ogden City Public Services Department to ensure that the participants had a first class experience.

Along with the Chamber Golf Classic, Mt. Ogden Golf Course also hosted the Ogden Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Event, the Ben Lomond High School Alumni event, Northern Utah Realtors Association, and the St Joseph High School Fundraiser just to name a few.
