Repaving has been completed of the Ogden River Parkway Trail from Stephens Bridge west of Wall Avenue to the Gibson Bridge behind Wal-Mart.
The trail is now open to the public after a long closure to complete the River Restoration work involving removal of concrete material and widening the banks of the river to accommodate the high-water flows. This was the last major construction element of the two-and-a-half-year restoration project. Work continues on the final vegetation planting which is scheduled for completion June 30, 2012.
