CNN Money names Ogden in Most Affordable Cities to Buy a HomeFriday, June 01, 2012 According to an article by CNN Money, Ogden is “the most affordable of all western markets” for home buying and ranked seventh in the nation. |
In a recent article by CNN Money, Ogden was ranked number seven in the nation for most affordable U.S. cities to buy a home.
Based on home prices, median income, and mortgage rates, 10 cities were recognized in the article for having the most affordable home prices in the nation.
"Ogden is one of the most affordable of all western markets,” the article boasts. Pro-business policies have attracted many private employers to the area, and though home prices in Ogden slightly exceed the national median, incomes are high here. Home building can be done much more economically in the area, and the whole formula makes for Ogden being a great place to purchase a home.
