Hazmat Crews Respond to Incident at Weber State

At 1103 hours on November 27, 2012, Fire Department personnel responded to a hazardous materials incident at 3001 University Circle, Weber State University. Upon arrival, Weber State Police were on scene and reported that an outside contractor was servicing the pool at the Swenson Gym and had added Chlorine to the pool chlorination system, which is a normal process.

Firefighters Respond to Structure Fire at 2769 S Liberty Avenue

At 9:30 pm fire crews responded to a structure fire at 2769 S. Liberty Avenue. Upon arrival, fire crews reported heavy fire coming from the rear of the structure which was fully engulfed in flame.

At 1:13p.m. fire crews responded to 709 S. Wall Avenue on a structure fire. Upon arrival, fire crews found a one story commercial masonry building with heavy fire coming from the roof.
