The Comptroller Division provides technical support to the City Administration in the preparation of the City's annual budget and annual capital improvements plan. It is then the comptroller's responsibility to post the changes made by the City Council in the adoption of these documents and then to publish the adopted versions. The Comptroller also maintains the records of the city's financial activities, assists in the annual financial audit of the City's records and publishes the City's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, as required by law, and the Federal Single Audit relating to grant funds.
