Ogden is a city rich with history, culture and diversity. Ogden is home to Weber State University, the Raptors baseball team, Ogden River Parkway and George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park, Historic 25th Street and the new David Eccles Conference Center and Peery Egyptian Theater. You will find a vibrant downtown, diverse neighborhoods with a variety of ethnic cultures, the "best 'lil Airport in the west", and year-round recreational opportunities.
The Ogden Valley has three outstanding ski resorts: Wolf Mountain, Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. Pineview Reservoir is also located in Ogden Valley for summer recreation. The alpine beauty and wildlife of the Wasatch Mountains has long been recognized as one of the many attractions of living in Ogden. The Bonneville Shoreline Trail provides hikers and bikers with a well maintained trail to enjoy this feature. The trail follows the prehistoric shoreline of Lake Bonneville above Ogden and winds along the foothills of the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Range.
It is our desire that our World Wide Web server will provide Ogden's residents, visitors, and international neighbors with valuable information about our city, and incentive to explore us further. Ogden is a city that is open and hospitable. I am confident you will find, what the people who live here know, the panorama is beautiful, the people friendly, and the recreational and cultural opportunities are abundant.
