A Guide to Public Art in Ogden | Percent For Art Projects

Ogden City established its Percent for Art program in 1997. In the fall of 1998, Ogden began the development of a Public Art Master Plan. The recommendations in the Master Plan are the culmination of nearly eight months of meetings, workshops, interviews, and design team projects. Scores of Ogden citizens participated in this process.

Design teams were comprised of artists, architects, and other members of the community who identified areas in Ogden that could be improved with public art. The projects proposed by the design teams were intended to demonstrate how public art could impact Ogden.
