Healthy Aging
Healthy Aging Seminars
Golden Hours Center’s healthy aging seminars are held on Wednesdays at 11am. Seniors can listen to people from the community who speak about health education, alternative medicine, care issues, nutrition, crime/fire prevention, and other services that are provided in the community.
Foot Clinic
Once a month Toe Tickler's provides a foot clinic. The cost is $15 (includes a foot massage). You must sign-up for this service by calling Golden Hours at 399-5230 or by signing up at the front desk. Toe Tickler's is a professional team. Jeanne Williams, has been an R.N. for thirty years and trained by a podiatrist and Nancy Curtis, is a licensed Massage Therapist and C.N. A. Our foot clinic is held the first Tuesday of every month; appointment sessions begin at 12:00pm.
Blood Pressure
A Blood Pressure clinic is held the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:30am. No advanced sign-up is required. Also, a blood pressure machine is available to check your blood pressure as often as you wish!
Haircuts
Haircuts are available at Golden Hours for $5 on the second Monday of each month beginning at 8:30am. Advanced sign-up is required so call Golden Hours or sign-up at the front counter.
Massage Therapy
Marsha Noorlander, a licensed massage therapist, takes 10 minute massage appointments the third Tuesday of each month starting at 10:00am. The cost is $5. Choose a hand, foot, or shoulder massage. Advanced sign-up is required so call Golden Hours or sign-up at the front counter.
