Weber Heritage Foundation and Ogden City Landmarks Commission
Announce Annual Historic Preservation Scavenger Hunt

Ogden City Landmarks Commission and the Weber Heritage Foundation will host their annual Scavenger Hunt and Historic Preservation Week event on May 8, 2008. The Scavenger Hunt is a contest to help citizens become more aware of the beauty of historic structures in Ogden City.  Scavenger Hunt brochures may be obtained in the Planning Office.   (Municipal Building -2549 Washington Blvd. Suite 140) after April 4th and need to be returned by May 5th at 5pm.   Each brochure will show sections of historic buildings in Ogden and a clue about the building it is on, and participants are asked to identify the building and its address.  A map on the back of the brochure identifies the location of single historic buildings as well as historic districts.  While all entries are eligible for drawings of restaurant gift certificates, those with 10 correct answers will be eligible for a grand prize.  The program announcing the winners will be May 8, 2008.  Winners need not be present.
