Suspicious Activity

You know your neighborhood best.  If you see something suspicious, please call 911 and report the suspicious activity immediately. Sometimes citizens see something that they know is not normal for their neighborhood but they are afraid to call the police because they are either too scared, they think they are bothering us, or that we are too busy.
If you see a car drive around the block several times watching houses or kids, someone peeking inside your neighbors windows, someone going door to door asking for money or someone knocking on the front door, looking around and then going to the back door, you should call 911 and advise them of this activity.
Some citizens have watched their neighbor’s front door get kicked open and watched the burglar carry the property to the suspect car and drive away.  The neighbor did not call the police but did tell their neighbor when they got home.  Please call 911 as soon as you know something is wrong.
Please do not be afraid to call 911.  If you see suspicious activity, call the Police.
If possible, note the race, age, sex, height, weight, hair color, eyes if close enough, and type of clothing worn by the suspect or suspects.
If a car is used in the commission of a criminal act, note the make, model, license plate number, and color of the vehicle the suspect is driving.  At night, you may only be able to say the car was large, medium, or small, or if the car was a Van, Truck, SUV.  Also be aware if it is a 2 door, 4 door, or more.  Note if there is anything unusual about the car such as decals, body damage, rust damage, tinted windows, or has a loud muffler.

Call our Community Police Bureau at 629-8094 if you are interested in starting a Neighborhood Watch program.
