Residential and commercial water rates are based on the gallons of water used. A base rate is charged based on the water meter size. In addition, rates are assessed based upon the meter size, the availability of secondary water on the property, and the number of gallons of water used per month.

A fifty cent discount of the minimum monthly charge, or base rate, is given to users in single or double family dwellings who are granted tax abatement by Weber County.

Sewer charges are billed in accordance with water use. The minimum charge is based on the size of the water meter (see table below). Residential and small commercial accounts exceeding 10,000 gallons of water usage if secondary water is available and 25,000 gallons of water usage if secondary water is not available are billed an additional $.014 per thousand gallons above the allowed amount. Large commercial users; those with water meters over 1" in diameter - are billed $0.25 per thousand for water exceeding the allowed amount.

Ogden City provides refuse pickup and recycling services using an automated system. Recyclables and refuse are picked up the same day, by the same truck. The City provides refuse and recycling carts.
