The Ogden City Council has adopted a policy providing for installation of streetlights in the middle of full length residential blocks. This is in addition to the lights at intersections.  In order for mid block lights to be installed, they must::

• Be at least 300 feet from any other streetlight

• Be approved by a majority of the property owners on the block (who are within 150 feet of the proposed location)

• Have an existing street light system in the neighborhood

If you would like a streetlight and your neighborhood meets these requirements, fill out the Street Light Application. Return the completed form to:

A Supervisor from the Public Ways and Parks Division will check the area where the streetlight has been requested. This should be done within 30 days. If the request is approved, we will send the request to the power company.
