REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA #12 LINCOLN AVENUE

The Lincoln Avenue Redevelopment Project Area was established in 1987 and encompasses 25.54 acres between Lincoln and Wall Avenues and between 23rd and 25th Streets. This Area was formed to help with the redevelopment of the blighted area west of the Ogden Hilton Hotel and adjacent to Historic 25th Street. The developers in the Area to date are Amalgamated Sugar and Jim Stacey.

For the Lincoln Area Ogden City loaned the RDA $300,000 of CDBG monies. The RDA in turn used these funds for site acquisition and improvements related to the redevelopment of the former Burton Walker Lumber Company site to accommodate Amalgamated Sugar's corporate headquarters.

***CDBG provided 100 percent of the funding for this District.
