Welcome to Ogden. Let us help you make your move here enjoyable by providing you with the information you need to get your new water, sewer and refuse service started. We require the recorded owner of the property to sign for services. Owners are asked to take the following information to 133 West 29th Street to start new service today. **
- Picture Identification
- Proof of Property Ownership
- Final Clearance from Ogden City Inspections (if you have just built your house)
- Security deposit if applicable (based on past credit with Ogden City Water)
** Applications for new service made after 4:00 may be processed the following workday. Applications requiring us to install a new meter will need to be made prior to noon for same day connection. **

Construction Water
A fee for construction water is assessed and collected when the building permit application is taken. Contractors are allowed to use a filler in the meter box during the construction phase. This filler is required to have a dual check valve. Water used under this agreement, is for new home construction only. Once a final clearance is issued or an occupancy permit is issued, an application needs to be made for permanent water. Water needed for landscaping, pools, etc must also be metered. An order for a meter set may be made by the owner of the property. This set is worked by the Water Department after the following has been verified:
