The inaugural Community Engagement Summit provides an opportunity for professional organizations representing the interests and concerns of municipalities and professional higher-education organizations to come together to collaborate around community engagement. 

This summit will be a choice opportunity for organizations to learn of the overwhelming benefits that come from working together under a community engagement model. 

Each of the organization attending the Community Engagement Summit has a unique perspective regarding the citizens with whom they are engaging. 

In addition to educating each other about their missions, the participants will discover areas where collaboration is a possibility and determine next steps.
