Plan Your Visit
Using the guidelines recommended by national, state and local agencies/authorities, the Museums at Union Station now plans to re-open on June 17th. We will carefully and continually monitor the efficacy of these guidelines in real time and make further adjustments as needed. You can read the latest updates from MUS here.
Building Hours
Starting June 17th 2020, the adjusted and temporary building hours listed below will allow our team to assure our facilities are cleaned and sanitized and ready for the next business day. Your patience during this rapidly developing situation is greatly appreciated.

Museums Admission
All tickets include access to Museum Exhibits and Art Galleries. General Admission does not cover cost associated to Ogden Union Station Museum Events.

Free Days
Free admission is granted to the following audiences:
Heritage Festival | The Union Station is proud to host Heritage Festival the 2nd week in May. This festival is a celebration of culture where visitors can make crafts, enjoy food and watch performances.
RAMP Days | The Union Station Museums are proud to participate in RAMP’s Summer Saturday’s program. RAMP works with many county recreational and cultural facilities to offer free admittance. Union Station’s RAMP days are during the months of June, July, and August.
Blue Star Museums | The Union Station Museums are proud to participate in the Blue Star Museums program. Blue Star Museums offer free admission to active duty military, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, National Guard, and Reserve members, with up to five family members. The program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Holiday Fun Day | On the 1st Friday in December, Union Station hosts a celebration of global holiday traditions where visitors can make crafts, enjoy food and listen to live music.

Union Station and the Museums are closed the following days:
- New Year’s Day – January 1
- Martin Luther King, Jr Day – third Monday in January
- Presidents’ Day – third Monday in February
- Memorial Day – last Monday in May
- Independence Day – July 4
- Pioneer Day – July 24
- Labor Day – first Monday in September
- Veterans Day – November 11
- Thanksgiving – fourth Thursday in November and the following Friday
- Christmas – December 25
- Closed for Annual Cleaning Dec 23, 2020 - Jan 12, 2021
