Commissioner Ipsen

Christine Ipsen has spent most of her career working with vulnerable, at-risk, diverse populations in both Weber and Davis Counties. For the last 22 years she has worked with federally funded Head Start Program and 11 years with Community Action. She has served as Executive Director of the Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership, Inc. since 2018. Throughout her career, she has worked to elevate community members out of poverty. Christine earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Weber State University in 1998 and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University in 2007. She recently received the award for Excellence in Community Action 2020. Her specialized training in a variety of areas including mental illness, legal and ethical documentation, diversity appreciation and employment law show her passion for leading in a diverse community.
