Moratorium Roads

When a road has been reconstructed, repaved or reconditioned, it becomes a Moratorium Road for a period of 3-5 years.

When a road is under moratorium, it is restricted from non-essential road cuts.  When road cuts are necessary due to a utility break or needed utility work, the required road patch will be larger than those of an older road.

Road patch sizes for Moratorium Roads are determined by the City Engineer.  For information on moratorium expiration dates, please call Engineering Permits at 801-629-8990.
