See the beauty of the Wattis-Dumke Model Railroad inside the Utah State Railroad Museum. This exhibit was named after Dr. Ezekiel R. Dumke and Edmund O. Wattis, both contributors to science and technology in their respective fields. Along with the Hostler’s Model Railroad club, they made this gorgeous model railroad possible.

Experience the painstaking created model scenes of local topography and terrain as it traces western railroad tracks. Four model trains zip through regional sections of this exhibit, showcasing the Sierra Nevada, Lucin Trestle, Ogden’s Union Station and historic 25th street, Weber Canyon, and Dale Creek, Wyoming. This exhibit is fun for the whole family, enchanting children and adults alike.
