7th Annual Indie Ogden Awards Celebrate with Western Flair

indieogden newsflash

The 7th Annual Indie Ogden Awards commenced on March 8, recognizing local businesses and residents for their contributions to the Ogden community in 2018 with 35 different awards. Each award given was prompted by community decided votes and nominations.

There were categories for local Ogden food and drink spots, highlights of the annual art/artist scene, favorite hangouts and even recognition for individual community members that exemplify what it means to be an “Ogdenite”. The awards took place at the Timbermine Steakhouse and the party was Western-themed to compliment Ogden’s rich history and local grit. The attendants all arrived in their best cowboy-inspired ensembles, and entertainment from musician Scotty Haze and the Two-Bit Babes Burlesque troop accompanied the three-course dinner. After the award announcements, an after-party complete with a DJ and photo-booth closed the evening.
