Ogden City has a new manager of business recruitment in Business Development. Liesl Limburg joined the team in October 2022. Liesl got both her undergrad and Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Utah. Working in the realm of politics and economic development in Washington, D.C., Salt Lake City, and Arizona, Liesl now lives in Ogden with her husband Brett and Sasha, their Shiba Inu.
“I want to be in a role where my work is meaningful, where I can effect positive change for people. That’s really what my drive is.” With that drive in full gear, Liesl will market Ogden globally with the goal of attracting new business to the area, while also strengthening those already established in our community.
“We want businesses that have an impact on the quality of life in the community. We want businesses that have standards, that pay well, and have opportunity within the structure for employees to grow and progress. This is what’s going to elevate a community.” Liesl will be at the forefront of Ogden Business Development’s goal to cultivate new business, working in close partnership with state and local organizations.
