Ogden City Council collaborates with FlashVote to foster community engagement

Flash Vote Collab

OGDEN — The Ogden City Council has partnered with FlashVote, a platform for community engagement, to conduct surveys and gain valuable input from residents in guiding its decision-making processes.

To participate, residents can sign up now at https://www.flashvote.com/ogdenut or call 775-235-2240 for phone or text-based involvement.

The registration process takes less than one minute, with all responses and data kept anonymous. FlashVote safeguards personal information from disclosure to Ogden City or any third party. Upon enrollment, participants can select their preferred survey delivery method including email, text, or phone call. They will receive prompt notifications whenever a new survey is available and will have 48 hours to provide input before the voting window closes.

Following the survey's conclusion, participants will automatically receive a summary of the overall results, allowing them to compare their responses to the collective group.

"We are excited and optimistic about the impact of this platform on informed decision-making within the City Council," said Chair Angela Choberka. "We encourage Ogden residents to sign up and actively participate."

Through this partnership with FlashVote, the Ogden City Council aims to augment transparency and inclusivity in its decision-making process, prioritizing the community's voice in shaping the city's future.
