Applications open for Ogden Youth Council

The Ogden City Council office is accepting applications from Ogden resident students in grades 9 through 12 to participate in Ogden City’s Youth Council during the 2022-2023 academic year. This program will provide students with an opportunity to get real-world experience working with local government, learn valuable leadership skills, and build relationships with other youth throughout the Ogden area.

“We’re very pleased with the success the Youth Council program had in its first year,” Ogden City Council Chair Ben Nadolski said. “This is a great opportunity for Ogden youth to get up close and personal with Ogden City and serve in the community.”

Students who participate will gain a better understanding of how local government works, the roles and responsibilities of elected officials, and how to work with community leaders. They will also participate in service projects throughout Ogden.

Those interested in participating can visit ogdencity.com/youthcouncil  and submit the online application.

For additional information, please contact Ogden City Council Communications Manager Brandon Garside, brandongarside@ogdencity.com (801) 629-8103.
